iLearn24: New Features Simplifying Training Workflows in the First Half of 2026

Many small improvements make all the difference. Discover the new features that have made iLearn24 – Next Generation clearer, more efficient, and even more user-friendly in the first half of 2026 – all available as free updates for our contract customers, of course.

It’s not always the big changes that noticeably improve day-to-day work. Often, it’s the small features that save clicks, simplify workflows, or make information available more quickly.

That’s exactly why we’re continuously developing our learning management system, iLearn24 – Next Generation. Many of the new features arise directly from our dialogue with our customers. Whatever proves effective at an airline, an airport, or an aviation maintenance company, we then make available to the entire aviation community. The best part: All new features for the first half of 2026 are automatically available to our contract customers as updates in their respective versions of iLearn24 – Next Generation, at no additional licensing cost.

Less Work for Administrators and Controllers

Many of the new features are designed to make day-to-day administration easier and more efficient. For example, the completely redesigned notification module now offers “standard sets” and a new administration interface. This makes it possible to configure automated notifications more quickly and manage them much more clearly.

Persistent filters also save time in day-to-day use. When tables are reopened, they automatically appear with the most recently used filter settings. And in the event module, iLearn24 now hides past attendance dates by default. Older dates can be displayed again at any time using a slider.

For decentralized training assignments, a new feature now allows users to transpose the training matrix. Axes can be swapped with a single click, providing a different perspective on mandatory training and optional courses. And for companies that manage external certifications in addition to training in the LMS, uploading external certificates via the Report Generator significantly simplifies daily work.

Greater Transparency and Compliance for Everyone in the Company

In the aviation industry in particular, verifiable certifications, transparent processes, and reliable documentation are essential. That is why we have specifically further developed this area.

With the new Modular Controlling feature, it is much easier to evaluate learning progress for individual topics within a curriculum. This not only simplifies day-to-day monitoring but also makes it easier for aviation companies to provide evidence during audits. Incidentally, the idea for module-based monitoring originated directly from our customer forum and serves as a prime example of how real-world feedback is incorporated into the ongoing development of iLearn24 – Next Generation.

Another new feature is the ability to initiate a request for information in accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR directly within the system. Users can download their personal data as a PDF at any time. In this way, iLearn24 – Next Generation provides targeted support to every company in meeting data protection requirements.

A Better Learning Experience and More Flexibility in the Enrollment Process

It’s not just administrators who benefit from these updates. iLearn24 has also been further optimized in many ways for learners.

Newly added modules within a curriculum can now be displayed directly at the beginning of the training path. This allows employees to access new content more quickly, especially in Read & Sign curricula. The tile view on the home page and the list view in the learning account also place greater emphasis on important information and make it easier to navigate the platform.

With the new option for third parties to book appointments, supervisors, for example, can directly register their employees for available in-person training sessions. In addition, the waitlist feature makes it easier to manage even fully booked events. Administrators have the flexibility to decide which events waitlists will be offered.

Developed in collaboration with the aviation community

Software is best developed in collaboration with its users. That’s why many new features in iLearn24 arise directly from our dialogue with the aviation community. Anything that makes day-to-day training at an airport easier, saves an airline time, or helps a maintenance company organize its training programs is subsequently made available to all contract customers as a free update. This continuous development has been part of wingsacademy’s philosophy for many years. And, of course, the development of iLearn24 – Next Generation will continue consistently in the second half of 2026.

Your personal contacts at wingsacademy will be happy to guide you virtually through the iLearn24 – Next Generation learning management system and demonstrate all the new features live within the system. A quick phone call or email is all it takes. And if you’re not yet familiar with iLearn24 and would like to learn more about our learning management system, our sales team is ready to provide a personalized presentation.
