The latest update to our Learning Management System (LMS) brings three major highlights in administration and controlling. In addition to transitioning the user interface to the next generation of iLearn24, customer requests have been implemented alongside the introduction of brand-new features designed to simplify daily tasks.
For example, the redesigned curriculum management area makes administrative work more structured. A new overview for leadership feedback enhances transparency regarding all received and pending feedback, providing a clear entry point for HR. Additionally, the new dashboard for company physicians not only ensures they are well-informed for upcoming appointments but also provides necessary transparency regarding voluntary or mandatory medical examinations.

New Dashboards in the LMS – Key Information at a Glance for Company Physicians and Trainers
The seamless management of occupational health appointments and associated follow-up deadlines has been an integral part of our iLearn24 – Next Generation LMS for years. Its integration into complex qualification and certification processes has notably benefited our aviation clients.
A newly introduced centralized entry point now caters specifically to company physicians (CPs) immediately upon login. The LMS recognizes this role and presents a dedicated interface—the company physician dashboard. As an enhanced adaptation of the trainer dashboard, it provides an overview of current, upcoming, and past appointments, along with all relevant details about each session. Essential inputs, such as adjusting the time frame for follow-up visits, can now be made directly within the system.
The company physician dashboard effectively completes the LMS’s full-service management for CP appointments—from scheduling and invitation management to appointment organization and follow-up tracking. Additionally, trainers also benefit from this update, as the trainer dashboard has been upgraded for improved clarity and new functionalities.
More Structure, Simplicity, and Clarity – The New Curriculum Administration in the LMS
The administration of curricula has undergone a significant transformation as part of the next-generation transition of iLearn24. Not only has it been modernized, but a range of customer requests has also been integrated. Furthermore, new features have been introduced and made more accessible.
A new menu bar provides the necessary structure, guiding administrators step by step through the available configuration options. Some settings, which were previously embedded within broader sections, now have dedicated menu points. Additionally, the fundamental "meta-navigation" of the LMS has been relocated from the top of the screen to the left-hand side. It now expands only when needed, maximizing space for core administrative functions.
Speaking of space optimization: The column filtering system in curriculum administration will soon be aligned with the logic of the report generator in the controlling module—an update that will further enhance clarity and usability.

Leadership Feedback: A Consolidated Overview of All Feedback Entries
One of the curriculum administration settings allows assigning a feedback form to supervisors. In line with educational controlling principles, supervisors can provide feedback on training programs from their perspective. This feature has been increasingly utilized due to its easy integration into existing workflows.
To ensure clarity and traceability, the latest update introduces a structured leadership feedback overview. Training managers, HR personnel, and other stakeholders can now instantly access a structured display of all received and pending feedback entries. Smart filtering options help focus on key data, while familiar navigation elements, such as the three-line menu (also known as the burger menu), allow deeper insights into each feedback entry.
Later this summer, the LMS controlling module will be further enhanced with a graphical representation of feedback and results.

Every update paves the way for the next one. Here’s a sneak peek at upcoming free updates for iLearn24 – Next Generation that are currently in development. Three major innovations are in focus: a complete overhaul of notification administration, the introduction of "building block controlling" for the "Read & Sign" feature, and a streamlined process for assigning administrative rights at the department level.
The go-live for these new features is planned for the first half of 2025.
